As this site moves along, there is one thing that I think you will notice about me. This one thing is that I have an unhealthy obsession with getting photos of lightning.
This obsession has led me to the point where I only buy equipment for the sole purpose of shooting lightning and even have special equipment tailored for ONLY shooting lightning photographs.
This morning at about 2:30 am, I got my first strike of the year, and it looks like I may have some chances of getting a powerful storm that should be rolling through about 9:30 am.
Right now, it seems to be a hair after 4am, which puts me in the area of being worn out and needing to wake up in 4 hours to see if this storm is going to keep enough power to hit us with the right combination to make dangerous lightning fall from the sky!
Although it’s not a very impressive shot, it is still my First of the Year and I’m pretty happy that I got to get out and see the sky flashing a little bit tonight.
