Several years ago in June of 2007, I went to the Island of Dominica.
While on the Island, I totally fell in Love with the laid back, welcoming and beautiful area of Calibishie. The people are amazing, the weather is amazing and the beaches are all hidden and deserted.
While there, I took a ton of photos and some of these ended up Black and White. It seems like a lot of the photos where there were scenes with a lot of Palm trees were the ones I eventually converted to B&W.

These B&W photos are all at a beach by Mellville Hall Airport. It was one of the more easy to find and really nice beaches on the island.
